About us
About CityVerified
CityVerified answers one question homeowners ask before they hand over a deposit: is this business who it says it is? We answer it with public records, phone calls, visits and documents from insurers, and we show our work on every record.

Why we do this
Most directories tell you a business is “top rated”. Few tell you whether it holds the license its work needs, whether its insurance is in force today, or whether its address is a real yard or a mailbox. Those are the questions that matter, and the answers are mostly public. They are just scattered across state, county and insurer records.
We pull them together for each business, write down where every fact came from and when we checked, and check again every 90 days.
What we stand by
Show the source
Every fact on a record names its source and the date we checked it. If we cannot confirm something, we say so.
Results are not for sale
No business can pay to pass a check or to be recommended. How we make money
Fix mistakes in public
Anyone can report an error, and every change is logged. Corrections

Research
Researchers make the calls, visit offices and look up records. They cannot see which businesses pay.
Business team
A separate team handles claimed records and paid products. It has no access to edit records or results.
