## What a record is

A CityVerified record states what we could confirm about a business on the date shown, and the source of each fact. It is not a guarantee of workmanship, prices or conduct, and it is not an endorsement.

## Using the information

You may use records to choose a business and may link to them. Please check important facts, such as a license or an insurance certificate, directly with the business before you sign.

## Quote requests

A quote request goes only to the businesses you tick. Any agreement you make is between you and that business.

## Paid products and sponsored placements

Businesses can buy optional products. Sponsored placements are always labelled and kept outside recommended lists. No payment changes a check result.

CityVerified checks public records and documents so you can see who you're dealing with. We earn money from optional business profile upgrades and, when you ask for a quote, from the businesses that receive it. Neither affects verification results.
